On December 15, Consul General TONG Xiaoling called on Hon. Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia (BC).

Consul General Tong expressed the appreciation for Her Honour's support in the good relations between BC and China and wished to work together to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas. Consul General Tong also briefed Her Honour about the new blueprint and timetable outlined during the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the recent successful visit to China by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon warmly welcomed Consul General Tong to assume her new office in Vancouver and expressed her willingness to continuously support the friendly exchanges between the two peoples.
