On August 25, Consul General Fu Fengshan met with Canadian Member of Parliament Taleeb Noormohamed.

Consul General Fu stated that China and Canada share strong economic complementarity, and our bilateral cooperation enjoys robust internal driving forces and broad prospects. He expressed readiness to work with the Canadian side to earnestly implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries, continuously expand the list of cooperation, carry forward the friendly sentiments between the peoples, and promote the sound, steady and sustainable development of the new strategic partnership between China and Canada. 

MP Noormohamed spoke positively of the development in Canada-China relations and expressed his readiness to maintain close communication with the Chinese Consulate General and jointly promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, so as to benefit the peoples of both countries.
